Our debut album “Ser y no estar” is out now!
Maple Moon is a duo composed by singer-songwriter Sol Anzorena (Argentina) and multi-instrumentalist Tom Grotewohl (USA). Haunting melodies and organic soundscapes are characteristic of their music, and in her lyrics Sol explores some of the strongest emotions in the human experience - those which arise when you miss somebody who you know you’ll never see again, or the hardship of loving someone who is trapped in the hands of depression. These feelings are universal but they can be difficult to talk about. Maple Moon brings them to the surface so that they can be acknowledged and shared with a sense of appreciation for their bittersweet beauty.

~ Senesce ~
Senesce is a Nature-inspired world-folk band comprised multi-instrumentalist Tom Grotewohl and singer Sol Anzorena. Our repertoire consists of original material composed in our journeys throughout Europe, South America, Asia, and now North America. As we travel the world, we see that though our countries have different names and languages, our souls are all branches leading back to the same Tree. Thus our music reflects influences from many cultures across time and space, and we celebrate both age-old folk traditions and modern innovation. At a deeper level, we have learned that our loyalty lies not just to human civilization, but to Planet Earth, in whom we share our citizenship with all living things. That is why we strive to make art in harmony with our principles of cherishing Nature and respecting the plants and animals who are our siblings. But mainly, we’re just trying to make good music!
